AIKO's STORY
Clear-cut, very much present and yet a place of peacefulness: Our AIKO, a lace-up shoe made out of polished black leather, does not long for the spotlight but presents itself in silent perfection instead. AIKO'S fashionable features include an eclectic last shape (almond and square hybrid), shoe fronts with prominent asymmetric seams as well as a closed Oxford lacing which is considered to be particularly chic. All in all, you are looking at an exquisite model which neither brags nor rebels but wins you over with simplicity and elegant reserve.
Last but not least: Besides being an eye pleaser, AIKO'S outsole puts forward a cleverly constructed system of layers with EVA components making sure that the style is sturdy yet not unnecessarily heavy.
SIZING AND FIT
Our AIKO runs true to size. However, if you are in between sizes, we recommend that you size up. Also, that way you won’t have to think twice about your choice of socks. The last shape is best suitable for feet which are narrow to normal in width. Please feel free to contact us for an individual size consultation.

Our classy AIKO elevates any outfit. Pair her with long knit dresses or fine wool shorts in 3/4 length to create a luxurious look. In general, she’s perfect for sophisticated layering using clothing out of natural materials such as cotton, linen, leather, cashmere or silk. Choose garments that resemble AIKO'S clear design language – think of straight, structured, oversized, voluminous, simple and the like. Details like puffed sleeves, rounded hems or a cinched waist create a more feminine appeal.
All shoes stay in their best condition possible when you take care of them on a regular basis. This includes storing them in their enclosed dust bag which will prevent exposure to sunlight etc.
Every now and then, you may dust off your AIKOs with a dry cloth. When they have collected some dirt, use a damp cloth (you may add a bit of leather cleaner solution), a multi-purpose foam cleaner or wet wipes especially for leather. For an extra portion shoe love, go ahead with leather milk or (black) shoe polish. The outsole can be cleaned with a wet cloth.
