Every order is carefully prepared and inspected before it leaves our studio. We see packaging as an extension of the product itself — reduced, functional and intentionally chosen. We use only as much material as necessary to ensure safe delivery, opting for plastic-free alternatives. Shipping is climate-neutral.Responsible resource use and continuous refinement are integral to our approach.
MATERIALS & CIRCULARITY.
Our shipping boxes are sturdy, recyclable and reusable. Custom box heights help reduce unnecessary filler material. The packing tape is made of paper with natural rubber adhesive. Whenever it is sensible and meets our quality standards, we reintroduce packaging materials into circulation — for example from returns or supplier deliveries. Intact materials are consciously reused. Shoes are wrapped in unbleached tissue paper for protection. CEDOUBLÉ stickers are made from recycled paper and are fully vegan. Each package includes two cards printed on unbleached paper with environmentally friendly ink. One provides care instructions, the other details the material composition. We consciously refrain from plastic labelling on the shoe.
LESS WASTE. MORE PURPOSE.
To reduce packaging waste, we ship without an additional shoe box. Depending on model and availability, we also use upcycled cotton or linen dust bags. These are intended for long-term reuse — for storing shoes or for other purposes. They are finished with drawstrings made from recycled cotton. Each parcel concludes with a handwritten note as a gesture of appreciation.
